This weekend Omsk celebrated the 307th anniversary of the birth of Omsk!
The initiator of the solemn celebration of the City Day was the first mayor of Omsk, Yuri Shoikhet (head of the city administration from 1991 to 1994). Since then, the holiday has been especially loved by the townspeople.
In the last summer month Omsk is elegant and beautiful: the streets are decorated with floral arrangements, bright flags. All cultural institutions, creative collectives with their concert programs, city parks of culture and recreation are involved in the festive mass events. A whole series of events for every taste took place in the city! The opening of Flora-2023, the Siberian International Marathon, the Festival of Folk Crafts and Crafts "Omsk — the city of masters", the Historical reconstruction "Shield of Siberia" and many other events! The celebration ended with a salute!
AMAKS Hotel Omsk did not stand aside and prepared a small exhibition dedicated to the history and modern life of Omsk, as well as hotel guests were able to enjoy delicious treats from the Banquet Hall restaurant.
